Bhubaneswar, May 17: As Odisha marks one year since the formation of its new government, led by Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi, a grand three-day statewide programme will be held at Janata Maidan from June 11 to 13.
The initiative aims to showcase the significant achievements of various government schemes and raise public awareness regarding development efforts.
Key Highlights of the Event
The Odisha administration plans to conduct celebrations at the state, district, and block levels, with leaders and officials engaging in discussions about the success and future of welfare programmes. The event will also focus on accelerating developmental activities across the state.
A preparatory meeting chaired by Chief Secretary Manoj Ahuja was conducted at Kharavela Bhavan, where top government officials, commissioners, and secretaries from various departments participated.
Public Awareness & Documentation
To ensure effective communication, the Information and Public Relations Department will publish a booklet detailing the success stories of government schemes. Departments will also document sector-wise achievements to disseminate information among the masses.
Moreover, a five-day exhibition will be held, highlighting progress in rural development and the role of Gram Panchayats in shaping Odisha’s future.
Engaging the Youth
A unique initiative will encourage students in colleges and universities to share their vision for Bikashita Odisha 2036 and Viksit Bharat 2047. Selected students will be recognized and awarded, fostering enthusiasm for state development.
