Addressing a Press conference, Mohanty narrated how he was being exploited in the BJD in the last couple of years. He said his marriage discord was unnecessarily politicized and his father's certificate submission issue was fabricated. He said he was chased by BJD leaders up to his shooting sets and he was not allowed to work for the people of Kendrapara during his MP stint.
The actor-turned-politician said he has always upheld the pride of Odisha during his stints as Rajya Sabha and Lok Sabha MP.
