Bhubaneswar, Jul 8: The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) has officially declared Manmohan Samal as its Odisha State President, marking his fourth consecutive appointment to the role.

The announcement was made by election observer Sanjay Jaiswal, who oversaw the selection process.

Samal was the sole candidate for the position, making his election uncontested and unanimous. His continued leadership signals the party’s reaffirmed trust in his vision and organizational capabilities at the state level.

Over the years, Samal has played a pivotal role in shaping the BJP’s strategy and presence across Odisha. With his return as state chief, the party is expected to focus on both strengthening its grassroots reach and preparing for upcoming electoral challenges.

Alongside his appointment, the BJP also released the names of 32 National Council members, reinforcing its internal framework and planning for broader national engagement.

The party highlighted that this decision stems from a consensus built on performance and sustained trust in Samal’s leadership, especially in steering the party through evolving political dynamics in the region.
