Jajpur, Aug 8: Police arrested a man for allegedly killing his wife over family disputes in a village in Odisha's Jajpur district on Thursday.
The accused has been identified as Abhimanyu Sahu, a resident of Narayanpur village under Mangalpur police limits in the district.
As per reports, accused Abhimanyu allegedly stabbed his wife, Sabita Sahu, to death following a quarrel at their house.
The couple reportedly picked an argument over some family disputes. The argument turned ugly when Abhimanyu attacked his wife with a knife. He allegedly stabbed his wife on her chest and neck multiple times.

✨The victim was found in a pool of blood and immediately taken to Mangalpur Community Health Centre (CHC), where the doctor declared her dead on arrival.
After getting information, Mangalpur Police reached the spot and arrested the accused.
Further investigation into the matter is underway, police said.
