Khordha, Nov 15: In a cold-blooded murder, a middle aged man killed his 71-year-old mother at Mangalpur village under Banpur police limits in Khordha district last night.
Banamali Behera, the middle son of Late Raghunath Behera killed his mother Satyabhama using a sharp weapon. Banamali was living alone with his mother.
He is of unsound mind and consumes alcohol on a regular basis informed his sister, Pramila Behera. Due to mental disability, his wife and children are living away from him.
Under the influence of alcohol, Banamali committed the crime said sources.
