Man Kills Lover After Finding Out About His Wife’s Extramarital Affair In Odisha’s Mayurbhanj

Raruan (Mayurbhanj), Mar 10: A man killed the lover of his wife after finding out about their affair in Raruan area in Mayurbhanj district, Odisha.
The accused, identified as Biswanath Behera, reportedly killed the lover, Niranjan Nayak, and had thrown his body into an abandoned well. The couple – Biswanath and his wife Rashmita Behera – has been arrested by police.
According to reports, Rashmita was having an extramarital affair with Niranjan. However, Biswanath found out about their relationship and decided to take a vicious decision.
The accused killed Niranjan with a stone and threw his body into an abandoned well. Interestingly, Rashmita helped her husband – Biswanath – in the crime.
Later, accused Biswanath took Niranjan’s scooty and disposed it into a pond near Kendumundi under Karanjia police limits.
After getting information, police recovered the body from the well on March 6. Niranjan was a resident of in Turumunga area in Mayurbhanj district.
Police said that the crime was carried out late in the night on February 26 on Maha Shivaratri.
