Man Hurls Bomb On House After Dispute With Wife In Odisha's Ganjam

Ganjam, Apr 9: A person Wednesday hurled crude bombs at his house following dispute with wife. The shocking incident took place in Kusapada village under Digapahandi police station limits in Ganjam district.
Following the incident, roofs of three houses got damaged while nearby residents escaped unhurt as the blast reverberated through the area.
According to sources, one Surendra Dora, who was residing in the village for a very long period, had been threatening his wife over personal disputes. After an argument, he allegedly hurled crude bombs at his house. However, a major mishap was averted as his wife had gone out for a work.
On the other hand, the explosion has caused severe damage to the homes of Babu Sahu, Anil Sahu, and Dandapani Sahu, leaving them in shock and distress.
On being informed about the incident, police arrived at the scene, apprehended Surendra Dora, and initiated an investigation to uncover the motives behind this act of violence.
