Kalahandi, Aug 16: An unfortunate incident has come to fore from Adhamunda village under Kesinga police limits in Kalahandi district where a 32-year-old man allegedly died by suicide after an heated argument with wife.

The deceased has been identified as Binod Gartia.

According to reports, a fight erupted between Binod and his wife Mami Gartia on Friday night over some petty issue. However, Binod was found hanging from a ceiling of the house this morning.

While the exact reason was not known immediately, preliminary reports suggest that Binod took such step after being upset over frequent quarrels with wife.

On being informed, Kalarapada police along with the personnel of Sadar PS reached the spot and initiated a probe into the incident. The body was seized and sent to Bhawanipatna district headquarters hospital for post-mortem examination.

Police have registered a case and further investigation into the incident is underway.
