Keonjhar, Feb 20: Police arrested a man for allegedly raping his 14-year-old sister-in-law in Odisha's Keonjhar district on Tuesday.
The accused has been identified as Raya Munda, a resident under Joda police station limits in the district.
As per reports, Accused Raya, his sister-in-law and other family members had gone to a nearby forest yesterday to collect Sal leaves. Later, the accused allegedly took the minor girl to an isolated place and sexually assaulted her.
As the accused and the victim did not return till the late evening, the family members started searching for the duo in the forest but couldn't find them.
Late on that night, the accused brought the minor girl and left her near her house. The victim narrated the incident to her mother.

✨The mother of the victim lodged a complaint against the accused at Joda police station following which police arrested him today.
The accused was arrested and booked under IPC sections and POCSO Act and forwarded to the court, police sources said.
