Puri, Jan 30: In a major reshuffle, Puri Police Department has transferred as many as nine inspector level officials within city police force.

Inspector Gokul Ranjan Das, who was in charge of the headquarters, has been given charge of the Town Police Station. Sunil Pradhan has been transferred as the IIC, Kumbharpada PS. Pradhan was in charge of the Town Police Station.

Joydeep Mohanty, who was in charge of Kumbharpada PS, has been appointed as traffic IIC, while Sangita Das, who was in charge of traffic IIC, has been handed new responsibility as the IIC of Baliapanda PS.

Bidita Nayak, who was in charge of Baliapanda PS, has been transferred to IUCAW Law Cell. Inspector Geetanjali Nayak has been posted as the IIC (Inspector-in-Charge), Talabania PS, while Pabitra Mohan Moharana has been transferred to IUCAW Cell.

IIC Bikram Keshari Jena, who was in charge of the headquarters, has been appointed as the IIC of Baseli Sahi PS. Inspector Sanghamitra Nayak, who was at the headquarters, has been transferred and posted as the IIC of CC & EO Police Station.
