Puri, Aug 5: Prices of Mahaprasad, sold in the Ananda Bazaar of Shreemandir, will be decreased to an affordable level if suggestions given to the Shree Jagannath Temple are implemented in spirit.
The Suar Mahasuar Nijog of the Shreemandir has majorly suggested keeping non-Supakars away from selling Mahaprasad in Anand Bazaar. Sual Mahasuar are the servitors engaged in cooking Mahaprasad.
During the meeting with the SJTA, the Nijog alleged that non-Supakars were selling Mahaprasad at higher prices to devotees. Rates of various items of Mahaprasad should be fixed and non-Supakars should be refrained from selling the Mahaprasad, suggested the Nijog.
The Nijog also suggested the SJTA make a help desk operational for devotees.
