The surge has reached the boundary wall of the revered Maa Bhattarika Temple in Badamba, Cuttack, prompting temple authorities and local administration to remain on high alert.
If water enters the temple premises, plans are in place to temporarily relocate the deity to a nearby shelter. The temple committee has assured that rituals will continue without disruption.
