Bhubaneswar, Nov 18: A cyclonic storm looks impending in the Bay of Bengal after a low pressure was formed in the BoB yesterday. 

Regional Meteorological Centre, Bhubaneswar has said this after the cyclonic circulation formed in south Andaman and adjacent areas has turned into a low pressure. 

The low pressure is likely to move in a west-northwest direction and turn into a depression in the southeast Bay of Bengal tomorrow. It will intensify further in the next 24 hours following which a cyclone will be formed. 

"Details about the impending cyclone will only be known following the depression likely to be formed on November 29. By the impact of the present system, Odisha will have a cloudy sky and some of its districts may witness rains in the next 12 hours," said the weather office.
