Bhubaneswar, Aug 23: Several regions across Odisha will experience another spell of intense rainfall as a fresh low-pressure area has developed over the northwest Bay of Bengal off the Odisha-West Bengal coast.


According to the India Meteorological Department (IMD), the system is likely to move northwestward, passing through Jharkhand, and influence weather patterns across eastern India.

The IMD has issued a warning for moderate to extremely heavy rainfall across several districts of Odisha over the next few days.
