The girl's family members went berserk after she eloped with her boyfriend. 
According to reports, Pitambar Jena's son of Bhutapadaa village fled away with a girl from Baipur village limits under Bantaa police station.

The girl's family members were threatening Pitambar's family members since the day they fled for which they were always staying in fearful circumstances.

Despite all these, they put fire to Pitambar's house due to which his wife Manorama got injured and their house was brought down to ashes.

The girl's family members also looted Pitambar's ornaments.

In this regard, Pitambar's wife has also complained to the Nandipada police station and requested the police to take strong action on this matter.
