Puri, Jan  3: Lord Jagannath in Srimandir here accepted the invitation, sent by the Sriram Temple Trust, Ayodhya, for the consecration of the Ram Temple at Ayodhya in Uttar Pradesh on January 22.

In the invitation letter, Mahaprabhu Jagannath has been requested to attend the event with all His family members and make the consecration successful with blessings. The invitation letter came with betelnut, akshat, and betel.  

The letter urged all Odia people to maintain sanctity on the inauguration day. 

The Sri Ram Temple Trust has also requested people to recite Sundarkanda and Hanuman Chalisaha and light five Deepas (Sacred Earthen Lamp) in their nearby temples on the inauguration day. 

Every Sanatani should celebrate the day like one observed in Ayodhya in Tretaya Yug on the return of Lord Sri Ram, Mata Sita and Brother Laxman from Banabasa (Isolation in Forest), urged the trust.
