Puri, Apr 12: In the ongoing training workshop for the MLAs and MPs of Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) in Puri, the BJP National President JP Nadda shared a strategic roadmap for party leaders, emphasising grassroots engagement and ethical governance.
Nadda inaugurated a three-day training camp for BJP MLAs and MPs along with Odisha Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi at Swaminarayan main temple in Puri.
Several prominent leaders, including Odisha Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi, Union Ministers Dharmendra Pradhan, Ashwini Vaishnaw, Jual Oram, BJP State President Manmohan Samal and BJP legislators, attended the inaugural session.
The BJP National President highlighted the importance of leaders being approachable and relatable, stating, "A true leader is not one who seeks the lens but one to whom the lens gravitates.
Nadda outlined a 14-point focus plan, urging leaders to prioritize rural outreach, cleanliness drives, and addressing core issues in sectors like healthcare, education, and community welfare.
The Union Health and Family Welfare Minister called for active involvement with women, Dalits, and the elderly, emphasising inclusivity and trust-building at the grassroots level.
Union Minister Nadda also celebrated the party's achievements, noting that over 13.5 crore members have joined the BJP in just three and a half months, and the party currently governs 19 states under the NDA alliance, with independent BJP governments in 13 states.
The Union Health Minister encouraged leaders to align with the party's ideology and work collaboratively for development-driven initiatives.
Notably, Union Health Minister JP Nadda is on a two-day visit to Odisha, marking a significant step in the party's organisational development. His visit is scheduled to conclude on Saturday.
Earlier on Friday, the BJP National President had launched the 'Ayushman Bharat Pradhan Mantri Jan Arogya Yojana', 'Gopabandhu Jan Arogya Yojana' and 'Ayushman Vaya Vandana Yojana' in the presence of Odisha Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi in Cuttack.
