Bhubaneswar, Sep 11: Odisha Revenue and Disaster Management Minister Suresh Pujari has reaffirmed the state government’s commitment to resolving long-standing land issues by ensuring that all patta (land deed) holders are allotted land, regardless of which government issued their patta.
Speaking at a public event, Pujari emphasized that the current administration is determined to correct past lapses and bring justice to those who have been waiting for land allocation.
“Many people received pattas under previous governments but have yet to be allotted land. I have directed officials to identify and allocate land to all such individuals,” said Pujari. He added that the Revenue Department will actively participate in the legacy of the Bhoodan Movement by continuing to distribute land to the landless.
