Sambalpur, Sep 16: In a significant administrative move, the Revenue Department has suspended Kuchinda Tehsildar Mitali Madhusmita Dalai following confirmed irregularities in land mutation procedures.
The action was taken after multiple complaints were lodged with the Chief Minister and the Revenue Department, alleging discrepancies in mutation records.

Based on the findings, the state government issued a formal suspension order against Dalai, marking her as the second Tehsildar from Sambalpur district to face disciplinary action in recent weeks.
Earlier, Bamara Tehsildar Aswini Panda, a 2019 OAS batch
topper, was arrested by the Vigilance Department for allegedly accepting a
bribe of ₹15,000. He was subsequently jailed.
