Bhubaneswar, June 6: The Odisha government has convened the first meeting to prepare a master plan for Kotia’s development.
The meeting, chaired by Revenue Minister Suresh Pujari, took place at Lok Seva Bhavan, marking the first official gathering of the newly formed 16-member committee dedicated to addressing Kotia’s border dispute and development.
The committee includes secretaries from various departments, along with MLA Raghuram Mach. Additionally, the Koraput District Collector and Superintendent of Police (SP) participated virtually in the discussions.
The meeting is centered on finding solutions to the Kotia border dispute while strategising developmental initiatives for the region. The government aims to implement both short-term and long-term plans to improve infrastructure and governance in Kotia.
