Koraput, Feb 12: After finding disproportionate assets worth crores of rupees in possession of Koraput district's Batasana GP Accountant-cum-Data Entry Operator (ADEO) S. Partha Sarathi Bisoi during searches, the Odisha Vigilance arrested Bisoi today.

Conducting searches at seven places, Vigilance officers detected three buildings, 16 plots, one cashew processing unit of an area over 8500 Sqft, 285 gms of gold, Rs.2.45 lakhs in cash, three tractors, 1 Bolero, etc, in possession of Bisoi and his family members. Bisoi could not satisfactorily explain the sources of funds with which he accumulated these assets.

An official statement o f the Viglanec said, the ADEO will be forwarded today to court later in the day. An investigation of the case is in progress.
