Khordha, Apr 21: In a heartrending incident, a woman was cut into pieces under the wheels of a running train at Kuhudi railway station under Khordha division on Monday evening.
The deceased was identified as Pushpanjali Moharana of Kuhudi Haat Nuasahi under the Tangi police station limits.
According to the information, Naba Kishore Moharana (Kalia), Pusphanjali Moharana, along with other family members, went to a relative's house at Dhaulimuhan. They were returning home by DMU from the Dhaulimuhan station. Pashanjali unconsciously slipped from the train and was dragged into the wheels at Kuhudi station. The body was severely mutilated.
On receiving information, the GRP personnel reached the spot, seized the body and sent it for post-mortem.

The deceased is survived by her husband Naba Kishore, a four-year-old daughter and a six-year-old son. Naba Kishore is a daily wager.
