The farmers insisted that all their paddy procured in full weight without any deduction as the quality of their corn is quite good. They slammed the Cooperative Society Secretary for the deduction of paddy in the name of FAQ.
The Nabanirman Krushak Sangathan extended support to the farmers.
"We invested our money and labour for a year in cultivation and harvest works. We want to sell our paddy at appropriate prices," agitating farmers said and added that they would not give paddy unless the deduction is stopped and they are given the right prices.

✨They also threatened to continue the strike till their demand has not been met.
