Khorda, Aug 29: Lightning Thursday killed a labourer while another suffered critical injuries in Khorda district.
According to reports, the incident took place in Baligadia village under Jankia Police Station limits. The labourers, reportedly three, were working in a agricultural field when lightning struck.
As a result, one of the labourers, identified as Pratap Dehury of Adivasi Sahi in Jankia, fainted on the spot before breathing his last there before getting any help.
