Rath Yatra 2026 / Khimji Foundation Extends Seva at Puri Ratha Yatra; Free Shelter for Devotees

Bhubaneswar/Puri, Jul 22: Khimji Jewellers, one of Odisha’s most iconic jewellery brands, reaffirmed its commitment to community welfare during the Ratha Yatra 2026 through its CSR arm, Khimji Foundation. The organisation rolled out special services in Puri to support lakhs of devotees attending the annual chariot festival.

Continuing its tradition of Seva, the Foundation deployed water sprinkler vans along the Bada Danda, the grand avenue of the chariot procession. The initiative provided much-needed relief from the intense heat and humidity, ensuring a more comfortable and spiritually enriching experience for devotees.

In another significant step, Khimji Foundation established a 30,000 sq. ft. free night shelter at Puri Sea Beach. Equipped with drinking water, e-toilets, and essential amenities, the shelter offered safe and clean accommodation to thousands of pilgrims who arrived without prior lodging arrangements.
