Bhubaneswar, Mar 20: Khariar MLA Adhiraj Mohan Panigrahi on Wednesday joined Biju Janta Dal (BJD) in presence of senior BJD Leaders after quiting congress.

Adhiraj resigned from the primary membership of Congress and sent his resignation letter to Odisha Pradesh Congress Committee (PCC) president Sarat Pattnayak on Tuesday.

In the 2019 elections, Panigarahi was elected as MLA from Khariar Legislative Assembly  in Nuapada District on a Congress ticket.
