The matter has been reported from Hatadihi Tehsil under the Anandpur Subdivision of Keonjhar district.
Bancho GP Sarpanch Prasant Kumar Rout had to bow down and touch the feet of the Tehsildar as the latter 'internationally' showed land, earmarked for a Mini Stadium, as 'Gochar' land, which is not converted for other purposes as per law. He urged the Tehsildar to direct the RI to show a report of the actual Kisam of the land so that his Pacnhayat could have a Mini Stadium constructed there.
According to Prasan, the government has provided Rs 45 lakh for the construction of a Minister Stadium in the panchayat. However, the Revenue Inspector shows the land as 'Gochar' and doesn't do mapping work, which is a requirement.

✨Similarly, the Revenue Department is deliberately delaying mapping the land identified for the construction of a road from Ambagadia to Mausi Ma Temple under the Chief Minister's Road Scheme. Despite repeated requests, the Revenue Inspector and the Tehsildar have not taken any steps.
The Sarpanch has threatened to immolate the shelf if the tehsildar does not take action.
