Kendrapara, Mar 5: Two school students died after drowning in a pond at Khurusia Bandhakuda village under Marshaghai police limits in Kendrapara district.

The deceased were identified as Durga Prasad Das and Dipanshu Mohanty. Both of them were Class 7 students of Mahakalapada Khurusia High School.

According to reports, the incident came to fore after the minor boys, who went to tuition, went missing. After a frantic search, the students belongings were spotted near the pond. Later, their bodies were fished out of the pond.

On being informed, police reached the spot and launched a probe into the incident.
