Kendrapara, Aug 14: In a decisive administrative move, Kendrapara District Collector Raghuram R. Iyer has cancelled the leave of all revenue officials in the district, following a directive from the Odisha state government.

The order mandates that all revenue staff immediately report back to duty and resume their responsibilities without delay.

The decision comes in the wake of increased demand for efficient revenue administration and public service delivery across the district. With monsoon-related challenges, land record updates, and welfare scheme implementations underway, the presence of revenue officials is deemed critical to ensure smooth functioning of government services.

Collector Iyer emphasized that the directive is in line with the state’s push for enhanced responsiveness and accountability in governance. He instructed all revenue employees to prioritize public service and maintain readiness for field duties, especially in areas affected by seasonal disruptions or requiring urgent attention.
