Kendrapada, Feb 10:  In a tragic incident a woman was found hanging at her residence in Sahupada village under Pattamundai police station limits in Kendrapada district on Saturday. 

The deceased was identified as Anita Majhi, daughter of Abhiram Majhi of Barkat village under Rajnagar block. 

Her family members rushed her to Pattamundai Community Health Centre. However, doctors declared her dead. 

According to information, Anita had married Kisan Mallick of Sahupada village two years ago. The duo often fight said sources. 

Last night due to some disturbances, Anita reportedly hanged herself while she was alone at her residence. 

Her parents have sensed foul play and lodged a complaint. On the other hand, her husband Kisan Mallick has surrendered in the police station.
