Berhampur, Nov 4: To accommodate the surge in passenger traffic during Kartika Purnima, Indian Railways has announced three special trains between Brahmapur and Puri. The move aims to ease travel for devotees heading to Puri for the auspicious occasion and returning afterward.
A special train from Brahmapur will depart on November 4, at 8:35 PM and reach Puri at 1:30 AM on November 5. This overnight service is expected to benefit pilgrims traveling to witness the grand rituals and festivities at Jagannath Temple.
In the return direction, two special trains will operate
from Puri to Brahmapur on November 5, 2025. The first train will leave Puri at
3:00 AM and arrive in Brahmapur by 7:15 AM. The second train will depart at
5:00 AM and reach Brahmapur at 9:30 AM.
