Bhadrak, Aug 5:  In an unfortunate incident, a kanwariya has died of snake bite in Odisha's Bhadrak.

The deceased have been identified as Himanshu Majhi of Dhamnagar Patuli village, Bhadrak.

According to the information, Himanshu along with his cousins were on their way to Baba Akhandalamani to pour water on Lord Shiva, during their way Himanshu was allegedly bitten by snake near Aradi bus stand.

Himanshu was brought to Aradi Hospital by his cousins but could not be treated as there was no doctor there then his cousin took him to Bhadrak district hospital, but there the doctor declared him dead and sent his body for post-mortem.
