Rourkela, May 1: The National Institute of Technology (NIT) Rourkela witnessed an electrifying evening of music and entertainment as Bollywood playback singer Kanika Kapoor performed the much-anticipated Celebrity Night 2025 here on April 30.

Organized by the Student Activity Centre at the Dilip Tirkey Ground (DTS), the event kicked off at 8:00 PM and drew an enthusiastic crowd of students, faculty, and guests.

Kapoor, celebrated for her energetic performances and popular Bollywood hits, delivered a dynamic set featuring some of her most beloved tracks. The audience sang along to chartbusters such as Chittiyaan Kalaiyaan, Lovely from Happy New Year, and Da Da Dasse from Udta Punjab, creating an electric atmosphere throughout the night.

The event showcased NIT Rourkela’s long-standing tradition of bringing renowned artists to campus, with previous editions featuring performances by legendary musicians like Sonu Nigam, Sunidhi Chauhan, KK, Vishal–Shekhar, and many others. This year’s edition upheld that legacy, offering students an unforgettable night of music, engagement, and celebration.
