Bhubaneswar, Mar 30: Following the derailment of Kamakhya AC Superfast Express (12551) near Nergundi station in Cuttack, a special train was arranged for the stranded passengers at Nergundi station.

According to sources, the special train has reportedly departed from the Nergundi station.

Kamakhya Express, en route to Assam’s Guwahati, was severely impacted after at least 11 of its coaches derailed near Nergundi Railway Station in Cuttack.

The mishap reportedly took place at around 11:54 am Sunday.

Following the mishap, railway department launched a restoration work and the routes of over three trains were diverted.
