Jharsuguda, Jul 8: Under the leadership of Superintendent of Police Smit Parmar, the Jharsuguda police have intensified their efforts to identify and verify suspected illegal immigrants in the district.

 

The department is currently in the process of screening 444 individuals across various police stations who are believed to be Bangladeshi nationals.

 

Sources within the police department stated that this large-scale identification campaign is part of a crackdown on potential illegal infiltration. Each individual is being carefully scrutinized to determine their nationality and legality of residence. If confirmed to be illegal immigrants from Bangladesh, strong legal action will be initiated, and deportation proceedings will follow.
