Bhubaneswar, Sept 1: Former Congress MLA Ashwini Guru passed away in the wee hours of Sunday. He was 69.
Ashwini Guru breathed his last at around 4 am following a heart attack.
Ashwini Guru, while contesting for Congress, was elected to the State Assembly from Sambalpur in 1980.
During the tenure of former Chief Minister Janaki Ballabh Patnaik, Ashwini Guru had served as a legislator for five years (1980-85).
