Bhubaneswar, Jan 7: The number of zones for the Odisha Public Service Commission (OPSC) examinations increased to six with Jeypore added as the new zone.
Earlier, the exam was conducted in five zones across the State. Jeypore was named as the sixth zone on a suggestion made by Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi to employment commissions on June 1.
The Chief Minister had suggested to the Odisha Public Service Commission to set up an examination centre at Jeypore in Koraput district.
