Bhubaneswar, Feb 11: Works Minister Prithviraj Harichandan on Tuesday said the work of the proposed fly-over bridge from Jayadev Vihar to Nandankanan will begin soon. He said technical work would begin first.

A fly-over will be constructed connecting Jayadeve NH fly-over and Nandankanan. There will be escapeways at major squares on the route so that vehicles can move to below roads without problems.

Plans have been made keeping in mind all traffic requirements, said the Minister.

"A 4-lane road will be constructed on top of the existing road. This road will be the lifeline of Bhubaneswar in the coming days. We hope to complete most of these projects by 2027-28, said the Minister.

He said the State government has provided the required technical approval for the project. So, the technical work will begin very soon, he said.
