The Hanuman Committee of Olanga Mathadiha, known for organizing Jatra events during Hanuman Jayanti, has accused 'Jatra Ranga Taranga' of failing to refund ₹80,000 after the cancellation of their booking.
The committee had booked the Jatra troupe for a performance in Mathadiha field, but the event was cancelled due to restrictions imposed during the matriculation exams.
Despite assurances from the troupe to refund the amount in case of cancellation, the committee claims that the Jatra owner has neither returned the money nor responded to calls.
Frustrated by the lack of resolution, the committee filed a formal complaint at Dhusuru Police Station against 'Jatra Ranga Taranga' and its owner.
