Jajpur, Nov 28: In a tragic incident, one person died while, three others sustained critical injuries after an ambulance met with an accident Thursday.
The accident took place on NH 16 in Jajpur district. The ambulance was reportedly on its way to Bhubaneswar from West Bengal when tragedy struck.
The ambulance crashed into a dumper, which was parked alongside the National Highway (NH-16) near Neulapur railway over-bridge. The reason of the accident is still unknown.

✨After getting the information, Chandikhole fire brigade and a nearby police patrolling team arrived at the scene and rescued the injured. The injured were rushed to Barchana Community Health Center (CHC).
The Dharmasala police too reached the spot and started an investigation. The police are suspecting that the mishap may have taken place either due to low visibility owing to the fog or the driver fell asleep at the wheel. However, the real reason behind the accident can only be said after investigation.
