Jajpur, Jan 6: In a tragic mishap, two minor children drowned to death while playing near village pond in Kulasahi village under Mangalpur police station in Jajpur district this afternoon.

The deceased has been identified as Kanha (3) son of Manas Jena and  Rupa(2) daughter of Mithun Jena.
According to reports, Kanha and Rupa  were playing near their vilage pond when this sorrowful incident took place.

After spotting them in water, villagers rescued them and sent to Mangalapur Headquater Hospital where doctors declared them dead.
