Jagatsinghpur, Feb 27: The woman home guard who levelled serious cheating allegations against Kujang IIC Tapan Nahak is reportedly being threatened to drop the case.
According to reports, the victim is continuously being threatened after the arrest of IIC Tapan Nahak.
The woman home guard alleged that a staff of DIB contacted her through WhatsApp and asked her to come to Jagatsinghpur stadium. When reached, the employee offered Rs 25-27 lakh and asked to withdraw the case, alleged the victim. She further stated that no action has been taken till now against some other accused persons mentioned in the FIR.

✨She also alleged that the accused threatened her parents with dire consequences.
The Jagatsinghpur SP, however, refuted the allegation and said the matter would be investigated.
Notably, police arrested Kujang IIC Tapan Nahak over allegations of cheating the woman home guard on the pretext of marriage. In her complaint, the woman home guard alleged that the accused, while serving as Additional IIC, took sexual advantage under the pretext of marriage.
