Bhubaneswar, Jun 16: In a late-night operation on Sunday, Khandagiri police detained two youths from West Bengal after they were found creating a disturbance with an intoxicated woman, also from the neighbouring state.

The incident occurred in the Khandagiri area, prompting swift police intervention.

According to reports, the two youths were allegedly misbehaving with the woman when authorities stepped in. The woman, who was found in an inebriated state, was immediately shifted to a hospital for medical attention.

The police have begun questioning the detained individuals to ascertain the circumstances surrounding the incident.

Police Investigation & Response

The two detained youths, as well as the woman, are reportedly working as labourers in Bhubaneswar.

Authorities are investigating whether the incident involved any criminal intent or was a case of excessive intoxication leading to disorderly conduct.
