Weather Update / IMD Predicts Light Rain In Southern Odisha

Bhubaneswar, Nov 3: The India Meteorological Department (IMD) on Monday forecast light to moderate rain or thunderstorms at isolated locations across southern Odisha districts, including Gajapati, Ganjam, Rayagada, Koraput, and Malkangiri, over the next 24 hours.
The rest of the state is expected to experience dry weather conditions, the IMD predicted.
In the past 24 hours, light to very light rain or
thundershowers occurred at one or two places across Odisha, while dry weather
prevailed in most districts. The IMD also noted that minimum temperatures have
remained relatively stable, with no significant change observed — fluctuating
within a narrow range of -2.0°C to 2.0°C.

Paralakhemundi recorded the highest maximum temperature at 34.2°C, while Phulbani registered the lowest minimum temperature at 18.5°C in the state.
Residents in the southern districts have been advised to stay alert for possible thunderstorms, while the rest of the state can expect continued dry conditions.
