Mansoon is active in Odisha. Heavy rainfall (7 to 11cm) is very likely to occur at one or two places over the districts of Bargarh, Sundargarh, Jharsuguda, Deogarh, Sambalpur and Keonjhar till 8.30 am tomorrow morning.
The India Meteorological Department has issued a yellow warning for heavy rain to occur in the above districts.
It predicted light to moderate rain/thundershower very likely to occur at most places over the districts of North Interior Odisha, Bolangir, Sonepur, Nuapada, Nawarangpur, Malkangiri, Koraput and at many places over the rest districts of Odisha in the next 24 hours.

✨However, the quantum of rainfall will decrease the next day i.e. August 4. After two days, from August 6, the amount of rainfall will increase further, said the Meteorological Centre, Bhubaneswar.
According to the regional meteorological center, 11 of Odisha's 30 districts have recorded a deficit rainfall.
