Bhubaneswar, Aug 6: The India Meteorological Department on Tuesday issued a yellow warning of heavy rainfall over several districts in Odisha during the next three days.
In its latest bulletin, IMD’s Bhubaneswar regional centre said heavy to very heavy rainfall (7 to 20 cm) and thunderstorm with lightning are very likely to occur at one or two places over the districts of Malkangiri, Koraput, Nabarangpur till 8.30 AM Wednesday.
The IMD also predicted heavy rainfall (7 to 11cm) and thunderstorm with lightning at isolated places over the districts of Sundargarh, Jharsuguda, Bargarh, Nuapada, Balangir, Kalahandi, Rayagada, Puri, Jagatsinghpur, Khordha, Nayagarh, Angul, Dhenkanal, Sambalpur, Boudh, Sonepur, Kendrapara, Cuttack, Deogarh during the period.
