Cuttack, July 17: As many six idols of Hindu gods and goddess were unearthed from beneath the ground at a local resident’s home in Kusumbi village under Salipur block in Odisha’s Cuttack district on Thursday.
According to sources, the idols were found near Raisunguda in Kusumbi village, and include representations of revered deities such as Hanuman, Kali, Durga, Radha-Krishna, and Lakshmi-Narayan.
The discovery has drawn large crowds from surrounding areas, with devotees gathering to witness the sacred artifacts and chant devotional hymns, creating a vibrant spiritual atmosphere.

✨Following the advice of local priests, the idols were ceremoniously worshipped and installed inside the house where they were found. The rituals were performed with full religious observance, and the area has since become a focal point of devotion and celebration, sources said.
