Bhubaneswar, Aug 12: The Institute of Cost Accountants of India (ICMAI)Bhubaneswar Chapter  has successfully conducted  a seminar on the theme  "Latest Development in the Cost Audit Framework & ABC for Maintenance of Cost Records & Cost Audit" on 11th August 2024 at CMA Bhawan, Nayapalli, Bhubaneswar.

The seminar was inaugurated by Babu Singh, MLA, Ekamra Constituency, Bhubaneswar as the Chief Guest in the presence of several distinguished dignitaries including CMA Bibhuti Bhusan Nayak, President, ICMAI as Guest of Honour, CMA T C A Srinivasa Prasad, Vice President, ICMAI,CMA Neeraj D Joshi, Council Member, ICMAI & Expert on the topic, CMA Damodara Mishra, Secretary, ICMAI-EIRC and CMA Uttam Kumar Nayak, Regional Council Member & Immediate Past Chairman, ICMAI-EIRC as Special Guest . 

CMA Ramesh Chandra Patra, Chairman of ICMAI-Bhubaneswar Chapter delivered welcome address, CMA Barada Prasan Nayak, Secretary of the Chapter extended vote of thank  and CMA Aviansh Kotni, Treasurer facilitated in the inaugural ceremony. 

In the technical session, CMA Neeraj D Joshi, Council Member, ICMAI, CMA Niranjan Mishra, Former Council Member, ICMAI and Practicing Cost Accountant and CMA Shyam Sundar Sonthalia, Former Chairman, ICMAI-EIRC and Practicing Cost Accountant delivered in detail on the topic as Resource Persons and given critical insights into the latest updates in the Cost Audit framework and the essentials of Activity-Based Costing (ABC) for maintaining cost records and audits. 

The technical session was facilitated by CMA Surya Narayan Tripathy, Past Chairman & MC Member and CMA Sarat Kumar Behera, Vice Chairman of the Chapter extended vote of thanks.

On the occasion all the dignitaries were felicitated by the Chapter. CMA Soumya Ranjan Jena, Chairman, PD Committee coordinated the seminar. With the collective effort, the seminar ended with a grand success and most discipline manner. 

More than 200 CMA Members of the Chapter actively participated in the programme.
