Bhubaneswar, May 10: A crucial meeting on coastal security was convened under the leadership of the Director General (DG). Senior officials including Coastal Security ADG Arun Bothra, Law and Order ADG Sanjay Kumar, Central Zone IG S Praveen Kumar, and Twin City Police Commissioner S Dev Datta Singh were present at the discussions.

The meeting focused on ensuring the safety of residents in coastal areas, with discussions revolving around enhanced security measures.

Steps have been taken to reinforce security systems along the coast, including increasing the number of Coast Guard personnel.

Coastal security forces are now deployed round-the-clock to safeguard the region.
