Jajpur, Dec 27: In a tragic mishap, a helper died as two trucks collided on the NH-16 near Goleipur overbridge in Jajpur district last night.
A truck from Andhra Pradesh, carrying iron rods, was stationary on the overbridge due to the breakdown of its engine. Another truck, also loaded with iron rods, came at a very high speed and hit it (the standing truck) on the backside.

According to the information, the driver of the iron-laden truck was rescued with critical injuries but the helper died on the spot.
